Freedom Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Open to continuing students with first preference to Veterans and second preference to students serving in the military.
SD Health Information Management Association Annual Scholarship
Open to continuing members of the DSU HIM Club with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Recipients are selected by the SDHIMA.
Waldner Family Endowed Scholarship
Open to students attending at least half time with financial need. Must be majoring in Education or Special Education and have a 2.0–3.0 GPA.
Independent Community Bankers of SD Annual Scholarship
Open to students participating in the Center of Information Assurance. Must be a resident of South Dakota. Award can be renewed for a second year with satisfactory academic progress.
DSU International Club Annual Scholarship
Open to any full-time student who is a paid member of the DSU International Club. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Kappa Sigma Iota Annual Scholarship
Open to any member of KSI honor society.
Ruth Krueger Memorial/KSI Endowed Scholarship
Open to any Kappa Sigma Iota honor society member with financial need.
SD Society for Respiratory Care Annual Scholarship
Open to continuing students majoring in Respiratory Care with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Must be a member of AARC. Based on financial need, reference, and academic performance. Recipients selected by SDSRC.
For Juniors or Seniors
Dr. John and Melinda Laflin Annual Scholarship
Open to upperclassmen majoring in English for Information Systems.
Dr. John & Melinda Laflin Endowed Scholarship
Open to Juniors and Seniors majoring in English for Information Systems or English for Secondary Education.
AAUW-DKG Endowed Scholarship
Open to Juniors or Seniors majoring in Education with outstanding academic ability and a resident of Lake County, SD.
Tana Thompson Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Open to Junior and Senior students majoring in Elementary or Special Education with financial need. Preference to students from Lake county and surrounding area.
Federated Insurance Annual Scholarship
Open to Juniors and Seniors majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Management Information Systems with academic excellence. Requires a separate application.
For Non-Traditional Students
Richard & Eunice Hinkley Endowed Scholarship
Open to any non-traditional student with a 3.0 GPA or higher and financial need. May be renewable.
Dr. Kenneth Brown Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Open to any non-traditional Junior or Senior with a major in the College of Business & Information Systems.
