Affiliated with the National ACE, this organization was concerned with the preparation of college students seeking a degree in elementary education. Meetings were held monthly in East Hall and consisted of discussions enhanced by reports, demonstrations, lectures, and visual aids. Meetings were highlighted by an afternoon tea.

This organization, already in existence for over twenty five years at this time, was open to students interested in English and in writing. Each member of the organization was to contribute to the publishing of The Eastern. Each spring, journalism awards were given to members who had contributed the required quota of newspaper copy. Meetings were held monthly.

Christian Union
This organization was an interdenominational student group that consisted of Protestant students (but not the Methodist or Lutheran students). This group met twice a month, alternating meetings between the First Baptist and Presbyterian churches. The Rev. Wallace Schumann and the Rev. Herald Osborne participated as mentors for the students. The meetings included Bible study, singing, and a social hour, with special parties planned for various occasions.

Dramatics Club
Comprised of students with an interest in dramatics, the members of this club participated in drama productions as make-up artists, costume clerks, and lighting directors. The Fortune Teller was one production in which the club actively worked.

Kappa Sigma Iota (KSI)
Started in 1922, KSI was a local honorary society whose members were selected on the basis of scholastic and leadership abilities. The organization awards one scholarship each to one on-campus student and to one incoming student. Both scholarships are full-tuition scholarships. A concession stand at the music contests helps raise funds for the scholarships.

Beadle Dames Club
This group was designed to support married, female students on campus. The club held regular meetings that often included guest lecturers and social gatherings. The Beadle Dames also participated in a community project called “Keep The Ladies”. The Dames endeavored to succeed academically and encourage their husbands to do the same.

Social Committee
The primary focus of this committee was to organize and provide social activities on campus. Each class on campus was able to elect two representatives who would attended monthly committee meetings. In these meetings, representatives would participate in the planning and organization of various social activities on campus.

Student Senate
The student government on campus, this organization is composed of seventeen members. Each spring, students elected senate members and class representatives. The aim of this organization was to expedite and simplify the communication process between the student body and campus administration regarding matters of student interest. The senate also conducted elections on campus and took a large part in the organization and planning of Trojan Day activities.

This organization was created to direct the matters of the Trojan Center and provide edifying, entertaining, and enriching activities for students. Meetings were held weekly and used to plan various campus activities.
