Cliff Anderson

Cliff Anderson is a 1973 graduate of Dakota State University. 
Cliff was named to the SDIC All Conference 1st team for 3 consecutive years, 1971-1973, in Basketball. He was also named All District 1971-72 season and 1972-1973 season. Cliff also earned All-American honors in 1973. He averaged 29.4 points per game without a 3 point line with a 52.6 field goal percentage. During the 1972-1973 season, Cliff had four games with 40 plus points per game. Cliff also had a single season total points record of 654 points during the 1972-1973. Anderson's career rebounding record from 1969-73 was 942. 

Cliff also excelled on the Football field. He played in the wide receiver position and started all four years of his career. #84 had a season best of 40 plus catches in 1972. He played on the Championship Boothill Bowl team. He had the longest touchdown in DSC history of 72 yards in 1970 and played with one of the best receiving corps in DSC history which included Darwin Robinson, Dan Stratton and Daryl Fletcher. 
Anderson, also participated in Track and was SDIC Conference High Jump Champion and record holder in 1970. He participated in baseball for 3 years with a batting average of .300 and was named to 2nd team All-SDIC prior to knee surgery.
