There are two types of sessions in Elluminate: Meetings and Courses.

• Meeting

  • A meeting session is a one-time event. 

  • Participants can be notified by an email message which includes a hyperlink to click and join the meeting.

  • Participants don't need an Elluminate account to join the meeting.

  • If you want to have a meeting session created, please use the form at

• Course

  • A course has prescheduled sessions that would recur throughout a semester or year

  • Only users with Elluminate accounts can be enrolled. Please email Haomin.Wang@dsu.edu your class roster to have your students enrolled into the course.

  • No need for email notification for each session

  • Participants need Elluminate accounts to join the sessions of the course.

  • Participants login through http://www.elluminate.com/member.jsp
