8.  EXPLANATION OF THE CHANGE:

 

SOC 100, 150, and 285 will be required.  Students will choose 9 credits from the remaining courses as electives.  SOC 240, 370, and 382 are existing course for DSU.  SOC 483 would be a new addition to the courses already offered.  This change will allow students to choose electives which fit with their major field(s) of study and interests.
