Course Description including prerequisites and corequisites, and registration restrictions:

This course will begin with a one-week experience in Yellowstone National Park, examining a number of controversial public policy issues associated with management of the nation’s first national park.  The week-long experience will be followed by a semester of small group work involving students from all Regental institutions, independent study, and state-wide interaction on a natural resource issue of importance to South Dakota.  The culminating event will be a presentation to appropriate policy-makers in the state capitol.
