Advanced
study of nomenclatures and classifications. Introduction to CPT coding and coding
practice will be addressed using manual and automated encoding systems.
Reimbursement management and optimization issues will be investigated for both hospital and non-hospital entities. Emphasis
will be placed on coding in the outpatient setting. Concepts integrated into
laboratory and computer experience. |
