8.  EXPLANATION OF THE CHANGE:

DSU is requesting to offer the common courses GEOG 200, CHEM 106/106L and CHEM 108/108L as part of the system general education requirements.

Currently, ARTH 231 Survey of Art, Music, Theatre is a unique course for DSU which fulfills the Arts and Humanities general education requirement.  It will be replaced by DAD 110 Introduction to Digital Arts (unique course for DSU).

The writing intensive course for both the English for Information Systems and Digital Arts and Design is being changed to ENGL 480 Contemporary Rhetoric.
