Based upon faculty, cooperating teacher and student
feedback, the current embedded Level 3 Field Experience for SPED 442 provided
pre-service teachers limited opportunities to work with K-8 students
evidencing learning disabilities.
Therefore, this proposed curriculum change will significantly enhance
the Level 3 Field Experiences by providing a formal structured practicum
experience throughout the Advanced Professional Block for Elementary and
Special Education pre-service teachers. |
