College of Arts & Sciences would like to add the following statement to course descriptions in the catalog for the English and Linguistics courses listed below:

“Some coursework incorporates multimedia assignments.”

LING 403: Intro to Linguistics

Justification: This change reflects approaches to teaching literature that may be specific to our courses, given the technological focus of our University, especially since the implementation of the Tablet initiative. This approach differentiates our courses from traditional English courses and thus sets our program apart from others. We would like that difference represented in the course descriptions.
