Professional Accountancy

Program Description:

  This program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career as a certified public accountant (CPA). South Dakota (as do most other states) requires that candidates for the CPA examinations have an accounting degree and 150 semester hours of college credit.

Graduates of this program will have completed courses that meet the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business "common core" requirements and, as such, can continue their studies for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Dakota State is also a member of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
