The 2007
Trojan Volleyball team began their first official practice on
Monday, August 13th with thirteen new players on the roster.
Jenna Kostelecky is the lone senior on the team along with six
returning players from last year's team.
The Trojans will prepare for
their first match of the season as they participate in the
Premier Bank/Bruins Labor Day Classic weekend, beginning on
Friday, August 31st. Their first match in the classic will
be Kansas Wesleyan, starting at 9:00 am with the second match
versus Grand View of Iowa. On Saturday, September 1st, the
Trojans will face GPAC foe Midland Lutheran at 1:30 pm and end
the classic, facing the host team Bellevue at 6:00 pm. The
Trojans will return back home on Wednesday, September 5th as the
Trojans will open the DAC Conference action against their
traveling partner, Jamestown. There will be a junior
varsity match starting at 4:00 pm followed by the varsity match
at 7:00 pm.
