NAIA All-Region III 2nd Team |

Because of their play, the NAIA
Region III placed Brassfield and Tolzin on it's second team. This was
the third time in her four-year career that Tolzin was named to the
All-Region team.
DSU Coach Cynthia Henning said that Tolzin's postseason honors over her
four years at Dakota State speak for the Sioux Falls senior's play.
Tolzin was the Trojans' leading attacker in 2005-06.
She pounded across 414 kills over the 115 games that the Trojans played
this past season. Tolzin also led the team in blocks, earning 144 stops,
including 58 solo shots.
As for New Underwood's Brassfield, Henning said, "she has been the heart
of the Trojans' defensive efforts since she was a sophomore."
Brassfield, who was a seven-time DAC libero-of-the-week pick, garnered a
team-leading 763 digs. Like Tolzin, she played in every one of DSU's 115
games this past season.
After Tolzin and Brassfield had been named to the DAC's all-conference
team earlier this month, Henning said "their departure from our program
will leave some very serious holes for us to fill."
