Amanda
Vos-Keizer etched her place in Dakota State University Volleyball history
on Monday night by becoming only the third player to reach the 1000 kill
mark for a career. The senior outside hitter said she was “surprised to
achieve such a record it is a result of hard work, good teammates and good
coaching.”
Vos-Keizer led the Trojans last season with 411 kills in 32 matches. “ It
is great to see our lady’s having success on the court with Ashley and now
Amanda both setting records. It gives our underclassman something to work
for as they develop through our program,” said head volleyball coach
Cynthia Henning.
On Monday
the Trojans played Dakota Wesleyan University for the second time in 6
days. The Trojans swept DWU improving their season record to 2-2. The
Trojans are in action again Friday September 3rd in the Peru State
Invitational.
