It took extra play
Wednesday, but Dakota State University's volleyball-playing Trojans
made it a memorable night for one of their own.
The Trojans won a fifth-game 16-14 verdict in Madison to nail down a 3-2
victory over Si Tanka-Huron.
The Trojans also create a positive memory for Amanda Vos-Keizer
(pictured right), who set the school's career kills mark.
Vos-Keizer needed just six kills going into Wednesday's match to gain the
record. She got 12 slams across the net to score for the Trojans.
The Sioux Center (Iowa) senior now has 1,100 kills, eclipsing Stephanie
Hein's 1998 season mark of 1,094.
