Trojans to post a 3-1
volleyball win over Mayville State.
DSU (16-7 overall and 4-2 in the DAC-10 loop) raced to a 2-0 lead with
respective 30-19 and 30-24 game wins before Mayville (7-15, 2-5) spoiled
the shutout with a 33-31 win in the fourth game.
The Trojans, though, nailed down the match with a decisive 30-10
fifth-game win.
"The match against Mayville was a great match for us," beamed DSU Coach
Cynthia Henning. "I thought we really executed our game plan against
them."
The Trojans completed their regular-season sweep of Mayville, having
beaten the Comets 3-1 (30-23, 28-30, 30-27, 30-16) earlier this season.
