Rachael Jensen of Dakota State was chosen to the University of
Wisconsin-Stout
All-Tournament
Team this past weekend in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The
Trojans went 1-3 in the tournament, defeating University of
Wisconsin-Stout in a thrilling five-set match.
In the tournament, Jensen accumulated 51 kills with an average
of 2.83 kills per game and killing efficiency of .210. In
two of the four matches in the tournament, she recorded a
double-double - 14 kills and 11 digs versus University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and 17 kills and 12 digs versus
University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jensen recorded 49 digs
overall with an average of 2.72 digs per game. In serving,
she averaged 0.39 aces per game with a serving percentage of
.925.
Rachael is the daughter of Mark and Jonda Jensen of Beresford,
SD. She is a junior biology major at Dakota State
University.
The Trojans (3-8) open their conference play this weekend as
they head north to take on Valley City State on Friday night at
7:00 pm, and Jamestown on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
