Schultz Signs with Dakota State Track and Field Program

(Madison, SD) - Dakota State University women's track and field head coach Trent Mack would like to announce the signing of Sara Schultz for the 2008-2009 season.  She will a sprinter and hurdler for the Trojans.

Schultz is a three sport athlete at De Smet High School where she lettered in volleyball, basketball, and track.  She qualified to the state track meet in 100 meter hurdles in her freshman and junior years, placing sixth in her junior year.  Schultz was named to All-Conference teams in volleyball and basketball her senior year.  She was listed as Academic All-State in volleyball and basketball.

Sara is the daughter of Dan and Diane Schultz of De Smet, SD.  Sara plans to major in Education at Dakota State University.
