Mack Named Lady T's Track & Field and Cross Country Coach

(Madison, SD) - Dakota State University
Athletic Director Gene Wockenfuss would like to announce the hiring of Trent
Mack as the new women's track & field and cross country head coach. He
began his coaching duties on January 1, 2008.
Prior coming to Dakota State University, Mack was an assistant coach in track &
field and cross country for the Yellow Jackets of Black Hills State University
last year. He worked primarily with the middle runners where he guided the
group to 14 All-Conference performances, six
All-American honors, three school records, and one National Champion.
Mack, a native of Watertown, SD, captured a state title in 300 meter hurdles in
his senior year. He went to Northern State University and competed for one
season before transferring to Black Hills State University. Before
finishing his running career, Mack earned four All-American honors, competing on
three relays that established school records and was a member of the National
Runner-Up Cross Country team in his senior season.
Mack graduated from Black Hills State University with a degree in Business
Administration and continued his education by obtaining a Master's in Business
Service Management.
Trent and his wife Kendra reside in Madison, SD.
