2008
Outlook
After the program’s first back-to-back 20 win
seasons in 4 years, the Trojan softball team
will head into the 2008 season in hopes of
winning their first ever DAC championship.
Last season, the Trojans were
regionally ranked for six consecutive weeks and
also defeated three of the four nationally
ranked teams they played. The Dakota State
University softball team will once again face
strong competition throughout the season by
playing 11 games against NCAA opponents and 13
games against teams that have qualified for the
NAIA National Tournament since 2005. The Trojans
will take part in tournaments at Cedar Falls,
IA., St. Cloud, MN., Hastings, NE., and
Vermilion, SD.
