Neiman Signs with Trojans

Madison, SD 11/10/2007 - The Dakota State University Softball program has received its’ first commit to the 2008-09 recruiting class. Leslie Neiman has signed a Letter of Intent and will join The Trojans next season.

Leslie, a native of Elkhorn Nebraska, is a member of the four time class “B” state championship team for the Antlers, and was selected to the All-Omaha area team, she recently was named first-team class “B”, while hitting .390  and driving in 32 runs.

            “Leslie is a great addition for our program. We expect her to make an impact early in her career at Dakota State. I have had the opportunity to watch her develop the last couple of years and feel the best is truly yet to come from Leslie in terms of her athletic career. In the class room, Leslie has been a member of the Honor Roll every year at Elkhorn and is a member of the National Honor Society” added coach Prorok.

            The Trojans are coming off of a 2007 season in which they secured their second consecutive 20 win season.
