Huss signs with Trojans

Waverly, NE 12/19/2007 - The Dakota State University softball team received its fourth commitment for the 2009 season today as Megan Huss a catcher/shortstop from Waverly, Nebraska has singed a letter of intent to play for the Trojans next season.

Huss hit .354, and posted an on base percentage of .438 while hitting 7 doubles in the Vikings first 15 games of the 2007 season. Waverly finished the season 13-16, losing to Gretna in the district finals.

“Megan has a very strong arm, and is a very motivated player. I think she will flourish under our system, and is definitely a player to watch as the program continues to grow.”

Megan will be reunited with summer ball teammate and friend Lanae Hair, also form Nebraska.
