Trojans to hold "Winter in April Weekend"

     Madison, SD 4/5/07 - As teams from Idaho down to Missouri and up the eastern seaboard experience unseasonably cold temperatures the Dakota State University softball team will travel to the climate controlled comforts of the Dakota Dome in Vermilion, SD this weekend to host the “Winter in April Weekend Games”.

     Teams involved in the weekend include 2006 NAIA National Tournament qualifiers Valley City State University, and Grandview College,  The top team in the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC), Black Hills State University along with GPAC foe Dordt College.

     The Trojans will kick the weekend off Friday night at 6:00 pm as they take on Dordt College in a double header which will be followed by a battle of DAC opponents Black Hills State University and Valley City State University at 10:00 pm.

     The weekend will continue as BHSU and VCSU will face each other again at 9:00 am Saturday morning and will be followed by four other great NAIA match-ups, see the schedule below for full details.
