Trojans
Remain in Top 10
Sioux City, IA 3/26/07 -
In the most recent NAIA region III poll
the Trojans fall one spot to number 10. The
Trojans fall after going 2-5 since the last
poll, the strength of their schedule has helped
them stay regionally ranked.
“It’s nice to be regionally ranked early
in the season especially with a 10-10 record. I
think our strength of schedule has helped us
tremendously. When you look at our loses we have
lost to the #11 team in the nation, a 16-4 NCAA
D-II team, another D-II program, four games to
the top two teams in the GPAC, and a team that
won 55 games last season. We still have four
games scheduled against the #19 team in the
nation, two games against NCAA D-II programs and
finally a two game set against a NCAA D-I
program. The road doesn’t get much easier for
us, this past week we made some great strides
defensively and our pitching is starting to take
form so hopefully that will help us for the
remainder of the season.” Stated coach Prorok.
