Trojans ranked regionally

Sioux City, IA 3/19/07 - The NAIA Region III Information director has released the first poll of the season and the Dakota State University Softball program finds themselves anchoring down the number nine spot in the first poll of the season.

     The Trojans who are currently 8-8 after a tough weekend against two of the top three teams in the region and two NCAA D-II programs face Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday and then travel to Valley City, ND, on Friday, to take on the number six team in the region the Valley City State Vikings. The Vikings after qualifying for the NAIA national tournament last season are currently 10-0, and are hitting .383 as a team.
