DAC tournament moved to Saturday

Madison, SD 5/4/07 - The DAC Softball postseason tournament scheduled first round games have been rescheduled for Saturday May 5th, starting at 8:30 a.m. Due to extensive rainfall the tournament has been restructured to be a single elimination event.

The DAC tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Region III tournament, which is scheduled to be played in Dickinson, ND on May 9th -11th.

The schedule for Saturday's games are as follows:

Game #1 Dakota State vs. Valley City State @ 8:30

Game #2 Mayville State vs. Minot State 20 minutes after game #1

Game #3 Black Hills State vs. Jamestown 20 minutes after game #2

Game #4 Game #1 winner vs. Dickinson State 20 minutes after game #3

Game #5 Game #2 winner vs. Game #3 winner 20 minutes after game #4 (Semi-finals)

Game #6 Game #4 winner vs. Game #5 winner 20 minutes after game #1 (Championship)
