The Dakota State University Softball team has received its first commit for the 2008 recruiting class. Malory Bartels a middle infielder from Clark, SD has announced her decision to enroll at Dakota State University next year and join the Trojan Softball team.

“Malory is a tremendous student-athlete, participating in four sports, volleyball, basketball, golf, and softball. She also posts an impressive 3.97 GPA and currently ranks third in her class. We are very excited to have Malory join our program, being a coach’s daughter she is very dedicated and truly understands the fundamentals of the game.” Stated Trojan Head Coach Ken Prorok.

Malory is the youngest daughter of Larry and Lola Bartels. Malory will major in Dakota State University’s Multi-Media Web Development program while taking classes in Madison.
