Siehndel Commits to DSU

The Dakota State University softball team received their first commit for the 2007 season. DeDe Siehndel, a junior college transfer, from Iowa Lakes Community College has agreed to play for the Trojans next season.

Last season the Lakers went 45-17 with Siehndel being selected to the all region team as DH. DeDe hit .317 while playing first and third base last season.

"We expect DeDe to have an immediate impact for us next season, anchoring down one of the corners and providing a solid bat in the middle of our line-up."  Said coach Ken Prorok who is in his first season with the Trojans. "Signing a player with DeDe's experience and potential is a indication of the direction we are taking this program." added Coach Brad Hesser.
