Klingenberg Named DAC Player of the Week.

           Madison, SD (4/17/06) – Junior Jessie Klingenberg has been named by the Dakota Athletic Conference as the DAC player of the week. Klingenberg is Biology major from Colton, SD.

For the week, Klingenberg hit a red hot .722 with a .944 slugging percentage in helping the Lady Trojans to a 4-2 record.  In the six contests, she had a hit in each of the six games, going 13-18 with four doubles, eight runs scored, three RBI and two-for-two in stolen base attempts.

“Jessie had a great week for us against Mayville and Presentation; she is currently hitting .374 and is third on the team with 28 runs batted in. Jessie has worked very hard this year to improve herself and her knowledge of the game.” Stated Associate Head Coach Ken Prorok.
