Hesser / Prorok Named as Staff

The Dakota State University athletic department announced today the hiring of Brad Hesser and Ken Prorok. Hesser will serve as the new head softball coach for the Trojans while Prorok will serve as the associate head softball coach.

Neither men are strangers to Dakota State Athletics. Hesser has been with the softball program for the past two years, serving as the assistant coach. Prorok has been with the nationally ranked Trojan baseball team for the past four seasons serving as the associate head coach.

Together Hesser and Prorok bring 19 years of fast pitch experience and 10 years of college coaching experience to the program.

“I feel we’ve hired the right people in Brad Hesser and Ken Prorok to establish a championship caliber Softball Program. Both coaches have successful backgrounds of the game and will provide an opportunity for all student-athlete’s to play at the Championship Level!" stated Athletic Director Gene Wockenfuss.
