Hello, my name is Gene Wockenfuss ('83), Athletic
Director of Dakota State. I'm very humbled to be
in a position I can have access to all the past, present
and future of Dakota State University. "Tradition,
Teamwork, and Integrity" have been the foundation for
the historic success of Dakota State University
Athletics and these values will drive our every action
at Dakota State as coaches, staff and student-athletes.
"CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL OF PLAY" is the expectation by all our
Dakota State Athletic Teams!
Dakota
State competes at the NAIA level and presently sponsors 10
intercollegiate sports - five men and five women. DSU is a member of the Dakota
Athletic Conference (DAC). South Dakota Tech; Black Hills
State; Minot State (ND); Dickinson State (ND);
Jamestown College (ND); Mayville State (ND);
and Valley City State
(ND).
