Josh Homolka enters his second year with the Dakota State Football coaching staff as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Last season, Homolka coached an All-American defensive back and DAC Conference Defensive Player of the week. Prior coming to Dakota State, he has been at Pittsburg State University. Homolka was part of the Pittsburg State staff that played for the National Championship in 2004 and on the staff that participated in the quarterfinals in 2005. At Pittsburg State, Homolka helped coach two All-Conference safeties. Homolka was a letter winner at the University of Kansas before going to Pittsburg State. He was part of the 2003 Tangerine Bowl squad.
