Aaron Rodney (pictured left) joins the Trojan football coaching staff as defensive back coach. Rodney coached defensive backs and was special teams coordinator at Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK in 2005-2006. He also coached running backs at Truman State University in 2004 and was the wide receivers coach at West Jordan High School (UT) in 2002-2003. Rodney played wide receiver for Boise State University from 1995-1996 and Ricks College (ID) in 1997. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Utah in 2003. Rodney, a native of Mountain Home, ID, will be completing his master’s degree in Organizational Management from Concordia-St. Paul (MN) in December 2007. Along with his coaching duties, Rodney is the equipment coordinator at Dakota State. He and wife Sarah have two children, Chance (3) and Marley (10 months).
