 Logan Signs to Play for Trojan Football

March 6, 2008

(Madison, SD) -- Dakota State Trojan Football Head Coach Tom Shea would like to announce the signing of Bryce Logan to play football at Dakota State University.  He will be the linebacker for the Trojans.

Logan was a three time Lake Region All-Conference team, and two time All-State Team Defensive Back for the Doland-Conde High School.  He was a member of 2004 State Runner-Up Class 9A Football Championship.  During his tenure at Doland-Conde High School, he was named to Aberdeen American News Athlete of the Week, All-Area Team, and All-Star Football Team.

Logan also lettered in wrestling where he was state qualifier and placed 5th in the 2008 Class B State Wrestling Tournament in the 152 lbs. weight class.  He also placed 5th in 2007 State Class B Wrestling Tournament in 145 lbs. category.  Logan was named to the school's most valuable wrestler, recorded the most pins, and was named All-Conference.  In addition, he was named to Gene Benthin Sportsmanship and Scholarship award recipient. 

Bryce was an Honor Roll student throughout high school, named Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week, and attended Boys State.  Bryce is the son of James and Andrea Logan of Doland, SD.
