Ciz Broke DSU School Record in
Most Career Pitching Wins with 23

SD) - After recording a 7-4 win over Dickinson State Monday afternoon, senior
Jason Ciz broke a DSU school record with the most career pitching wins with 23.
He pitched six innings, allowed six hits with four runs, walked once, and struck
out one batter to notch his second win of the season. The previous record
was set by Matt Schuster with 22 wins where he had pitched in 2002 to 2005.
Ciz recorded 10 wins in his first year at Dakota State. He continued to
amass his wins total with seven in 2006 and four in 2007. Ciz is a
three-time DAC All-Conference and was named to NAIA All-American Honorable
Mention in 2005.
Jason is the son of John and Dee Ciz of Wheatland, WY, and is majoring in
Exercise Science at Dakota State University.
