(Madison, SD) - After being the DAC's Pitcher of the Week honor for the week of March 24-30, 2008, david Morgan was honored by the NAIA Region III as Pitcher of the Week.
Morgan, a senior from Kelso, Washington, notched his third win of the season and recorded two saves in relief on the week as the Trojans went 3-0. For the week, he pitched 4 2/3 innings, struck out nine batters, and walked once with an ERA of 0.00. Dakota State is currently 11-7 on the season.
David is the son of David and Kathy Morgan of Kelso, WA. He is a transfer from Grays Harbor Community College and is a senior majoring in Exercise Science at Dakota State University.
Dakota State will continue their DAC Conference play as they travel to Dickinson State on Saturday and Sunday in a four-game weekend series. Game times are 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm each day in Dickinson, ND.
