Second in DAC Baseball Preseason Poll

(Dickinson, ND) - Defending champion Dickinson State is the choice in the 2008 DAC Preseason Baseball Coaches' Poll.
The Blue Hawks received four first place ballots to top the poll. Dakota State picked up the final two first place selections to finish second in the balloting. Jamestown College placed third in the poll, followed by Mayville State, Valley City State, and Minot State. The conference schedule opens on March 29.
The Trojans will open their season with a weekend series with in-state rival Dakota Wesleyan. They will open at the Flynn Field in Madison on Saturday, February 23rd with a doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm, and Sunday, February 24th with a one nine inning game with the first pitch set at 1:00 pm.
The poll was conducted by the Dakota Athletic Conference.
