"We got a pretty good effort from everyone tonight,"
said DSU Coach Jeff Dittman. "Tricia came in off the
bench in the first half and really gave us a spark. She
was hitting the offensive boards well, hitting jumpers
from the perimeter and making plays at the defensive
end. Jill also had an excellent defensive game for us.
She was jumping the passing lanes very well, picking up
five steals."
USF (7-7) lost the game despite getting a game-high 22
points from Chelsey Nelson. Morgan Campbell added 10
points for the Lady Cougars. |
