Summer Wright
Named to Lady T's Staff

 
    Summer Wright is the new assistant women’s basketball coach for the 2007-08 season.  Prior coming to Dakota State University, Wright was a personal trainer in Phoenix, AZ where she was enrolled in the graduate studies program in Criminal Justice at Northern Arizona University. 

     Summer has been coaching basketball camps and tournaments teams for the past 10 years.  A native of Albany, OR, Wright played college basketball at Linn Benton Community College from 1999-2001 and at Minot State University from 2001-2003.  She graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business. 

     Wright's on-court coaching responsibilities will include working with the perimeter players.  In addition, she will be involved with recruiting, scouting, and  academic monitoring of the Lady T's.  Summer will also be the Resident Director in Zimmermann Hall.
