THREE EARN CONFERENCE 
BASKETBALL HONORS

Sioux Falls, S.D. – Corey Smith of the University of Sioux Falls, Matt Geiver of Mount Marty College and Sheila Haack of Dakota State University are this week's South Dakota-Iowa Athletic Conference Basketball Players of the Week.

     Haack, a 6-foot-1 senior center from Rosemount, Minn., is the Women's Player of the Week.  In three wins last week, Haack score 49 points and had 24 rebounds, four assists and one steal.  She had 24 points in a win over #4 ranked Briar Cliff and was named Most Valuable Player of the Lady T's Christmas Tournament as DSU beat Dickinson State and Mt. Mercy for the title.  For the week, Haack was 19 of 29 from the floor (.655) and 11 of 15 from the free throw  line (.733).
