BASKETBALL HONORS

Sioux Falls, S.D. – Russell Archambault of Huron University, Kathy Shypulski of Dakota State University and Melissa Braegger of Black Hills State University are this week's South Dakota-Iowa Athletic Conference Basketball Players of the Week.

     Shypulski, a 5-foot-11 junior guard from Blaine, Minnesota, helped the Lady T's to victories over Mount Marty (55-48) and Dakota Wesleyan (84-79 in overtime).  Against Mount Marty, Shypulski scored 16 points and had five rebounds and two steals.  In the victory at DWU, she had 19 points, five rebounds and seven assists.  For the week, Shypulski was 12 of 24 from the field, including 5 of 11 from 3-point range, and was 6 of 6 from the free throw line.
