HONERMANN IS DAC-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dickinson, N.D. – Heidi Honerman, a 5-7 senior guard from Adrian, MN,  helped lead the Trojans to a 94-82 win over Huron University, which gave Dakota State the DAC-10 title and a berth into the NAIA Division II National Tournament.  Against the Screaming Eagles, she scored 27 points, handed out five assists, grabbed three rebounds and added five steals.  In the conference title clinching triumph, Honermann hit 9 of 16 field goal attempts, including 5 of 9 three-pointers, and was 4 of 5 from the free throw stripe.
