The opponents shot is up, it looks good ..... it hits the front of the rim, teasingly rolls around and pops out. A Lady T gracefully reaches up and snatches it from the air.  A quick outlet occurs and the Lady T's are off. Running down the court faster and faster...the Lady T's pick up momentum and finish the play with the confidence and tenacity of a team who knows how to get the job done.

When the uniform comes off and the Lady T's step off the court and into the classroom. This same confidence and tenacity which freely flows on the court is also acutely visible in the classroom.

The Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) for the fourteen athletes this year was 3.32 (on a 4.0 scale).   For the fall semester, the team GPA was 3.21.  The athletes then topped that in the spring when they notched a 3.43 mark.  In the Basketball Coaches Association magazine last year, the team GPA of 3.21 placed the Lady T's 17th in the country in team academic excellence.  We are anxiously awaiting this year's listing with our 3.32 GPA.
