Sara Nelson Named DAC
Player of the Week

 
For the Week of February 12-18, 2007:
 
Women: Sara Nelson; Dakota State; 6-2 Senior; Center; Dell Rapids, SD
 
Nelson scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds, blocked two shots and added one steal in an 80-67 triumph over Mayville State to earn the Lady Trojans the regular season conference championship and the top seed in the post-season tournament.  In the victory, she was 8 of 18 from the field and made all eleven of her free throw tries.
 
 
Men: Drew Hysjulien; Minot State; 6-6; Senior; Forward; Grand Forks, ND
Hysjulien had 27 points, seven rebounds and an assist as the Beavers wrapped up regular season play with an 86-73 win at Dickinson State.  In the contest, he was 10 of 15 from the field, including 6 of 9 from the three point arc and did not attempt a free throw.
