All-Conference Selections for 2002-03 Season

     Stacie Schorsch of Dickinson State has been named the Most Valuable women's basketball player in the Dakota Athletic Conference for the second year in a row.

     Schorsch, a senior from Richardton, N.D., also was named Most Valuable Senior and Defensive Player of the Year, and was named to the All-Conference first team.  She averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists per game.

     Dakota State placed two players on the honor units.  They were Jessica Honermann, the Lady T's 6-foot senior guard from Adrian, Minn., and Jennie Sonne, the team's veteran 6-1 senior center from Mount Vernon, S.D.  This is the third time Jennie has been named to a DAC-10 All-Conference squad.

     Lindsey Ness of Jamestown College was named Freshman of the Year and University of Mary's Roger Haug was selected the DAC-10 Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.

     Below is a complete list of the three All-Conference squads.  Schorsch and Eliason were the only first team repeat selections from 2002.
