Waking up on the morning of August 26th should have been like any other day.. but wait.. for some reason it isn't. What could be happening? It is time! The day has come for the Lady T's to leave on our trip to Washington D.C. Although we would not meet at the fieldhouse until 1:00 there was not a single Lady T who could think of anything else. What would the White House be like? Is the Washington Monument really that big? Is it possible that Forest Gump really ran through the wading pool? Our trip started with a ride to Sioux Falls which seemed excruciatingly long! Once we got on the plane in Sioux Falls everything seemed more real. We were really going to Washington D.C. Unfortunately the plane ride was delayed because of a small hurricane causing some bad weather. But, we got off the ground, landed in D.C. and made it to the hotel.  Now only a few short hours of sleep and we would be breathing the air of history and accomplishments.......sweet dreams.......
