DSU Fundamental Camps
Successful
“Playing
in the summer means winning in the winter” for youngsters who love the
game of basketball. At this
year’s Dakota State University Fundamentals Camp, future basketball
hopefuls put this concept into action with a fun packed four days of
instruction from the DSU Men’s Basketball staff.
This
year’s camp held June 2-5 at the DSU Fieldhouse saw 37 boys from 8
communities participate in contests and mini-clinics to help each improve
at the game of basketball. Those
who attended this year’s camps came from the communities of Madison,
Chester, Salem, Wentworth, and the state of Texas takes part in the event.
Two
individual awards were given out at the four-day event.
Tyler Kelly received the Best Hustler award and Dustin Christiansen
was selected as this years Most Improved Camper.
