BOARD OF REGENTS POLICY

1. Students who require pre-general education courses (Math 021, Math 101, English 033)
must successfully complete these courses within the first 30 regental credit hours attempted. If the
course(s) are not successfully completed at that time, a registration hold will be placed on the
student's record and they will not be able to register using WebAdvisor.

2. If the pre-general education course(s) are not successfully completed within the first 42 regental
hours attempted, the only course(s) in which students may enroll is the required
pre-general education course(s); and the student's status is changed from degree seeking to
non-degree seeking. Non-degree seeking students are NOT eligible for financial aid and athletics.
Students can petition to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for an exception.
