DSU Graduates Rate High Satisfaction with Computer Skills

Based on average ratings, the DSU graduates were most satisfied with their ability to learn on the job and use computer software.  The average ratings in these areas were 4.5 on a scale of 1-5.  The rating scale ranges from 5=very satisfied to 1= very dissatisfied.  The majority of DSU graduates use computers daily at their current job.  DSU graduates also indicated that their current position was highly related to their major field of study.  The DSU Alumni Survey has been used since 1993 to survey graduates one and three years after graduation.  The graduates rate their satisfaction with their abilities in three areas: computer skills, communication/socialization skills and job-related skills.  Employers of DSU graduates complete a similar survey on an annual basis.
