Ray Milton Kellogg, M.D., 31,
taught for eight years after receiving his B.S. in Education. He then attended medical school and was a doctor for 38 years before retiring. Ray has four children; Dr. Donald Ray Kellogg, Dr. Eugene Lloyd Kellogg, Jerry Edward Kellogg, and Pamela Ann Gareis. After 55 ½ years of marriage, Rays first wife, Luella (Oke) passed away. He has been married to Florence for 7 ½ years. She is a homemaker. In February 2001 Ray attended the 50th reunion of his Medical class of 1951 from Loma Linda (CA) University Medical School. At the age of 93, Ray was the senior attendee.Esther (Cotton) Carlson, 35,
and husband Helmer live in Volga. Esther celebrated her 85th birthday June 11, 2000. Helmer and Esther have three children, David Carlson of Brookings, Marilyn Hesly of Volga, and Margaret Schuefer of Winner. Esther would love to hear from anyone that remembers her. Orville Crawford, 41 and Mary Jane (Corey) Crawford, 41
live in Enumclaw, Washington. Orville also attended Columbia University in New York City and is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota. He is a retired chaplain and pastor. Mary Jane received her masters degree from the University of Washington. She was a teacher and a librarian. They have three children: Jerry, Judith, and Janice. Orville and Mary Jane have been married 58 years. Orville reported that Professor Pete was one of the finest teachers he had ever had and that the years that they spent at Eastern were some of the happiest they had ever had.1950s
Ada May Foster, 51
and husband LeRoy live in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. They have five grown children: Walter, LeAnn, Ward, Linda, and Sandra. Ada is retired, but works part-time in a antique mall. LeRoy is also retired. Ada was the 1987 Idaho Mother of the Year. She is a Senior Striders member and she does Line dancing every Thursday.Velda Brandt, 51

is a Logistics Management Specialist in the USA Army Umatilla Chemical Depot in Hermiston, OR.Ronald Campbell, 65,
and wife Carol live in Lake Preston. Ronald retired from teaching in 1988. Then he worked for Falcon Plastics, Inc. of Brookings. Since February of 2001, Ronald has been Quality Assurance Manager of ShinAmerica, Inc. of DeSmet where diabetic syringes are manufactured. Last February, ShinAmerica sent Ronald to South Korea to view the operation of the sister plant in Kongju.Dennis Martens, 68

Barb Foltz, 71,
and husband Dave reside in Rock Rapids, Iowa. In the fall of 2000 Barb passed the National Boards and became certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as a middle/childhood generalist. Barb is currently teaching 3rd grade in Rock Rapids. She has taught there since 1975. Before that she taught in Wakpala. Dave and Barb have four children; Chad, Jennifer, Kelli, and Michael.Judith (Schrooten) Bickett, 71
is retired from teaching. She spends her summers in Howard and her winters in Tucson helping her daughter, Leta Berberich, and her husband with their business, Coon Creek Old West Reproductions. They specialize in unique old west cowboy gear, Civil War, & Indian War apparel and 1840-1890 historical literature.Cheryl Rannow, 73

is presently in his 19th year of teaching Ramstein American Middle School on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. He teaches physical education for students in grades 6 through 8. He is also a coach at the high school in Ramstein. The Royal volleyball teams have won the past three championships for American Schools in Europe. The Royals have been undefeated for the past two seasons and begin the 2001 season with a 50 match win streak. The Royal track and field teams continue to be the dominate teams for the American schools in Europe. The ladies have won the past 6 European championships and the guys won as well in 2000. The two teams have won 35 conference, regional and European championships in the 18 years that Ramstein High School has existed.Marvin Mullaney, 73, and Mary (Lutter) Mullaney, 74,
reside in Crete, Nebraska. They have two children; Heidi Jo and Brett Michael. Marvin a the Vice President and a Loan Officer at a Farmers and Merchants Bank. Mary has been a teacher for 23 years. She is currently teaching kindergarten at St. James School.Al Christenson, 75,
and wife Ronda live in Owatonna, Minnesota. They have five children: Nick; 20, Lindsay, 19, Angela, 17, Kristin, 16, and Jenna, 14. Al was in school administration for over 24 years. He now owns his own business; Valvoline Oil Change and Touchless Car Wash.Carol (Forest) Folsland, 79,
and husband Steve live in Baltic. They have eight children, Megan 17, Melissa 16, Laura 14, Lisa 12, Karly 9, Kari 7, Jill 4, and James 1. Carol has a medical transcription business out of their home.Steve is the owner of Leverett Pest Control in Sioux Falls.

Rita (Thyen) Berg, 80,
and husband Tom reside in Baltic. Rita is a 4th grade teacher and Jr. High Oral Interp Coach and Tom is the AgEd teacher. They have two children, Jessica, 14, and Kevin, 10. , reside in St. Ignatius, Montana. After graduating from DSU, Randy and Connie married in 1982. They went to Nashville where Randy received a BS in medicine. He is a Physician Assistant in Family Practice. Connie is a travel agent. They have four children: Stephanie, 15, Tyler, 13, Aaron, 12, and MacKenzie, 7. Connie is the sister to Craig Miller, one of our computer network administrators at Dakota State University.James Bakke, 81,
and wife Janice live in Watertown. They have one daughter, Janelle, 11. James is a motor carrier inspector for the state of South Dakota. He has worked for the state for 20 years. Janice is a Walmart Associate. James is the uncle to Leah Bakke, Sioux Valley High School basketball standout, who will be attending DSU in the fall. and husband Tim live in Emery. Laurie has worked at Martin Group (the one source for all telecomm company needs) in Mitchell since she graduated. She has recently been promoted to program manager in OSS Software Development. Tim is self-employed in the heating and air conditioning business. Laurie and Tim have three children, Tyler 14, Jerod 12, and Lindee 9.Cindy (Edward) Lias, 84,
and husband David live in Vermillion with their two children, Sarah, 16 and Andrea, 14. Cindy is an early childhood special education teacher employed with the Southeast Area Cooperative and service children birth through age 5 with special needs in five school districts. and husband Eugene live in Salem with their three children, John, 7, Mark 41/2, and Andrew, 3. Julie was an elementary teacher for seven years and decided to become a homemaker before their first child was born. Eugene is a farmer.Jackie (Feldmeier) Hoven, 89,
and husband Wesley currently live in Warner. Jackie accepted a position as office manager for TLC Physical Therapy in Webster. Wesley is a parts manager at Dave Hahler Automotive. They have two children; Joshua, 7, and Jeremy, 5. The Hoven family plans on moving to Webster this summer.1990s

are living in Madison with their five children; Carolyn 13, Catheryn 11, Kevin 10, Meghan 2 ½, and Christine, born November 27th 2000. Don is a Senior Systems/ Support Engineer for Midcontinent Business Systems and Mary is a full-time homemaker. live in Sioux Falls. Tim works at First Premier Bank in the Customer Service Department. Patty is a Commission Technician at Midland National Life. are the proud parents of a new daughter, Emma Margaret, born November 1, 2000. Emma weighed 9lbs. 14 ½ oz and was 21 inches long. The Roling family is living in Madison. Ed is a maintenance director and Rhonda is in property management.Brent Sampson, 95

and husband Chad were married on October 2, 1999. They are the proud parents Nathan, born November 1, 2000. The Overgaard family is living on a rural farm near Luverne, Minnesota. had their first daughter, Amanda Lynn, on March 29, 2001. She was 21 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 8.5 ounces. Charlie has been a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 4 years. lives in Hitchcock. After working at McKennan Hospital as a respiratory therapist, she left and has been a traveling therapist. This has allowed her the opportunity to pursue job opportunities in Baltimore, Phoenix, and Wisconsin. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in health care administration.
